TEST DRIVE MEME: The First (Fixed Setting)

TEST DRIVE MEME
HOW TO: Post with your character in what will be a fixed setting for the first round! Do a top level, respond to others! If your thread is substantial, it can be used as a first-person on your application! Remember that this is not game canon, and everyone is welcome!

You were just ushered into a large park by a murder of loud and insistent crows who somehow manage to get the gate shut behind you before they fly off. The park is awfully green for such a dead-looking town. It's dusk, and things are starting to get a little noisy at the edge of the tall iron fence that surrounds the area. There are gazebos, cobblestone pathways, gentle slopes, and of course, the lake and the island with the large, dead tree. It's full of crows, and if you stare at them, they'll all stare back. Feel free to take a load off on one of the many iron and wood benches, but the gates to the city are closed!

This does not, however, mean you are barred from ghost-watching as night progresses. Remember, they won't see you!

[Aqua would love to say the scenery has improved now after all the time she's spent in the Realm of Darkness, but...

Whatever world Korbinstadt is, even without her ability to sense the light and darkness of it, Aqua is sure that it can only be a step away from the Realm she had been trapped in for the past year or so, if even that. At least the crows don't seem to be gearing to attacking her, or anyone else that has been trapped with her (at least a faint improvement after all her battling the creatures of Darkness).

Still, she longs for the feeling of Master Keeper's cool grip in her hands, fingers clenching lightly at the thought. Constant vigilance has been her mantra for so long now that the lack of Keyblade and magic leaves her feeling decidedly vulnerab-

The thought slips from her mind when she spots the deeply familiar mess of blond hair on the path before her. She can only see his back and only so many details to put her off (the jacket is a bit different, he isn't wearing his armor), but between the hair and the height, she knows in her heart that he just has to be:]

Ven-!

[Here's to hoping that Roxas is ready to have his personal space invaded in order to be fussed over once she's crossed the last few steps separating them, because that may or may not be what is just about to happen. Think quick?]

Whoa, whoa--wait!

[ As soon as he hears the name, he's got his hands up toward the noise. Roxas isn't stupid, and he remembers some things from the fuzzy days in Sora's heart--one of which being Ventus. This has to be someone he knows--but then, maybe it's someone familiar? ]

[ He doesn't know her right off the bat when he looks at her, though. ]
