TEST DRIVE MEME: The First (Fixed Setting)

TEST DRIVE MEME
HOW TO: Post with your character in what will be a fixed setting for the first round! Do a top level, respond to others! If your thread is substantial, it can be used as a first-person on your application! Remember that this is not game canon, and everyone is welcome!

You were just ushered into a large park by a murder of loud and insistent crows who somehow manage to get the gate shut behind you before they fly off. The park is awfully green for such a dead-looking town. It's dusk, and things are starting to get a little noisy at the edge of the tall iron fence that surrounds the area. There are gazebos, cobblestone pathways, gentle slopes, and of course, the lake and the island with the large, dead tree. It's full of crows, and if you stare at them, they'll all stare back. Feel free to take a load off on one of the many iron and wood benches, but the gates to the city are closed!

This does not, however, mean you are barred from ghost-watching as night progresses. Remember, they won't see you!

[...Well. It's not the first time this week (or really, this day) that Minerva wakes up somewhere completely different, but the last time at least it was somewhat to be expected after her defeat at Kouyka's hands. Then she had at least awoken in Hell's Core, the heart of Cube, surrounded by her fellow demons and new guild mates.

In some ways, it's truly ironic that even within the headquarters of Tartarus it had been brighter than here - wherever this sorry excuse for a park she had been dragged to might be located.

She makes for the lake – water should mean people, and maybe there'll be someone useful that she can boss into taking her back to the Cube (even with Marde Greer's interference, there is little doubt that his curse will be the last they saw of Erza and Fairy Tail and Minerva is more than eager to continue her battle with her beloved enemy) – and ignores the stares of the crows she feels in her neck, glaring at them for a second before proudly continuing her way.

(The stares call to long past memories of humiliation that she will not succumb to. Even if she can't seem to use her curse or her magic, even if she's only newly born, she is a demon of Tartarus now. Such things are beneath her.

Even so, what wouldn't she give to be able to use Territory to combust the air around them. Even if she's above them, she has always been a petty person.)]

[ If she's on her way to the lake, she may very well cross paths with Levi. He's currently stopped to stare out over the water again, a small rock in hand. He seems to be considering throwing it, the way he turns it over in his fingers without looking at it, occasionally tossing it a few inches up in the air. When she comes within earshot, his head turns slightly so that he can catch her movement in his peripheral vision, but that's all the acknowledgement he gives right away. ]

[He's not likely to be very useful, but there's a teen standing on the edge of the lake, skipping stones with an intense look of concentration on his face.]
