TEST DRIVE MEME
HOW TO: Post with your character in what will be a fixed setting for the first round! Do a top level, respond to others! If your thread is substantial, it can be used as a first-person on your application! Remember that this is not game canon, and everyone is welcome!

You were just ushered into a large park by a murder of loud and insistent crows who somehow manage to get the gate shut behind you before they fly off. The park is awfully green for such a dead-looking town. It's dusk, and things are starting to get a little noisy at the edge of the tall iron fence that surrounds the area. There are gazebos, cobblestone pathways, gentle slopes, and of course, the lake and the island with the large, dead tree. It's full of crows, and if you stare at them, they'll all stare back. Feel free to take a load off on one of the many iron and wood benches, but the gates to the city are closed!

This does not, however, mean you are barred from ghost-watching as night progresses. Remember, they won't see you!

They're kinda creepy.

I'm glad you asked. Obviously there is some sort of intelligent force at work here. Either an outside supernatural force or their own sentience. They acted together as a group to bring us here which requires coordination and resilience.

Crows don't just normally act this way! Like you know, maybe one or two to appear creepily to foreshadow death sometimes in a movie. Not a whole group like this!

Hold on, they foreshadow death?! But there are crows everywhere here!

That's just in movies. This is real life.

I don't think they want us to leave, though. I've been trying to get out of here, but I can't even summon a corridor to leave.

Actually some birds beaks aren't as sharp. Instead they're built for cracking seeds. Or a duck who has rounded beaks and just eat plants and small stuff out the water.

Ducks ain't birds. [beat] Okay, yeah, they're birds, but like. They're nice birds. I never met a duck I didn't like, but I met plenty'a dickhead birds.

You can't go discriminating against all birds.

Well, y'don't smell like a bird, so you probably ain't one. It's hard to tell just by lookin' sometimes, though.
