TEST DRIVE MEME: The First (Fixed Setting)

TEST DRIVE MEME
HOW TO: Post with your character in what will be a fixed setting for the first round! Do a top level, respond to others! If your thread is substantial, it can be used as a first-person on your application! Remember that this is not game canon, and everyone is welcome!

You were just ushered into a large park by a murder of loud and insistent crows who somehow manage to get the gate shut behind you before they fly off. The park is awfully green for such a dead-looking town. It's dusk, and things are starting to get a little noisy at the edge of the tall iron fence that surrounds the area. There are gazebos, cobblestone pathways, gentle slopes, and of course, the lake and the island with the large, dead tree. It's full of crows, and if you stare at them, they'll all stare back. Feel free to take a load off on one of the many iron and wood benches, but the gates to the city are closed!

This does not, however, mean you are barred from ghost-watching as night progresses. Remember, they won't see you!

[ Rhode is a little bit too entertained by the challenge of testing these featherbrained observers as she makers her way along one path or another. There's some appeal in trying to make them fall off their branches, make their necks break by walking in a circle behind them, but she can't seem to find a bunch stupid enough to play into her sadistic game.

Whatever. She has more important things to consider, anyways- while she keeps trying. She ought to find a snack, somewhere, she's got an ache for something sweet. It's easier to plan a way out of little messes with something on the stomach, anyways. ]

[ Yeah, Levi's just... kind of watching her from a distance while he tries to trick the crows. It's already occurring to him that these crows are smarter than they should be, but seeing someone testing it for him is useful. There's definitely something off about this girl, though. ]

[ It takes a few minutes- (slower than usual, really, perhaps confused by the crows?)- for her to feel his gaze, the hair on the back of her neck standing up. Rhode pauses in her little game, letting the crows stare on as she glances about in search of companions with fewer feathers.

Oh.

She doesn't move to approach him, when she does see him. He doesn't seem threatening, in her sense of the word, but she doesn't trust anything she sees in this place, either. ]

If you're going to stare, maybe you should get up in the trees with them.

[ Her voice is only a little louder than necessary, but she doesn't want to find out what the birds will do if she shouts. (Well, not yet. ]
